hoopersRemember that awesome FREE event with the firedancers in Lake Worth last year that you heard about, wanted to go check out, and then possibly forgot about? It’s called Florida Flow Fest, and its BACK for the 3rd year in Lake Worth’s Bryant Park over the post-Halloween weekend: November 1-3, 2013.

Florida Flow Fest offers over 50 movement arts workshops… wanna learn to hoop like a pro? Or spin poi? Or master the latest acro-yoga routine? Master instructors from around the world are assembling to help you do just that. This year’s theme is “Year of the Ninja,” so you can expect to come away with some serious skills in your pocket. Workshop passes start at $90 for three days of unlimited workshops with some of the best prop spinners and instructors worldwide. Instructors include Tink from Tokyo, originator and choreographer of the World Hoop Day dance annually; Ninja Hoops, acrobatic hula-hoop masterminds; and Master Ong, a multiprop master of flow. Local teachers also get a opportunity to represent their instructional expertise, teachers like Joy Yoga’s Brooke Joy Waszak, Groovolution Dance Studio’s Heather Foy, Yoga with Jax, Dr Nick from DU20, and Jess and Aaron from Jai Healing Arts.

Free daily workshops are new additions to the schedule this year. These yoga and movement workshops were designed and offered to welcome newbies and mavericks alike who want to dabble in the art forms without committing to a full workshop pass. Friday evening you can choose from Laughter Yoga or Tai Chi, Saturday and Sunday evening offer yoga and hoopdance for beginners. For everyone who chooses NOT to stay up for the all night after parties at KavaSutra, there will be an extra special breathwork event takes place Sunday morning at dawn on Lake Worth Beach, led by breathwork trainer Lori Reyes. Show up onsite any day to enjoy free workshops and expand outside your comfort zone. Of course, if you’d prefer to chill and watch everyone ELSE level up, Florida Flow Fest welcomes you, free of charge. Mainstage firedancing performances NIGHTLY from 7pm on, and a family friendly party in the park all day long- all free.

Wait, FREE?! Yes! Florida Flow Fest is a FREE event! Come out and play in the park, enjoy the food trucks and prepare to be mesmerized by the nightly performances. If you change your mind, you can purchase a workshop pass onsite to jump in on the SPIN of things. Either way, Florida Flow Fest is here to help you “Find YOUR Flow.”
